PGA de Cataluña

After achieving top place in 2012 in the prestigious ranking by www.top100golfcourses.co.uk, in 2013 the Stadium course at the PGA Cataluña Resort maintains its position as one the best golf courses in Spain. The PGA de Cataluña hosts the European Tour trials and is one of the youngest courses in the Tour. It has also hosted the Sarazen World Open Championship.

Golf Santander

Located in Grupo Santander City, in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) is Golf Santander, a par-72 course designed by the famous American architect Rees Jones. Is one of Spain’s best golf courses. From the black tees, or the last tee-off point, the 6,855 metres distance of the Golf Santander course makes it the longest in Spain and one of the longest in Europe.

La Moraleja No. 3

This course bears the Jack Nicklaus signature. The designer has transformed a terrain that was originally flat by introducing small hills at different points, more or less pronounced, in order to achieve a course with multiple play options at almost all the holes.

It is configured as a long, classical, parkland-type course; a good challenge for hosting important tournaments, but also very pleasant for any amateur to play.

San Roque Old Course

Designed by Dave Thomas the Old Course along with Valderrama and Real Club de Sotogrande became known as the golden triangle of golf. In 1997, during the Ryder Cup held in neighbouring Valderrama, San Roque hosted both the European and American teams and their families and to this day the plaques with the players´ names remain by the door to the suites they occupied.

Finca Cortesín

Measuring 6.802 metres from the back tees, and with more than 100 bunkers, Finca Cortesin is ranked as being one of Spain’s best golf courses by the prestigious Golf Digest Magazine. Finca Cortesin has been host of the Volvo World Match Play Championship for 3 years, one of the world’s most prestigious golf tournaments at a professional level.
