Golf Courses

San Roque Old Course – Finca Cortesín – Real Club Valderrama – Golf RCG Sevilla

Marbella – Costa del Sol

San Roque Old Course

Designed by Dave Thomas the Old Course along with Valderrama and Real Club de Sotogrande became known as the golden triangle of golf. In 1997, during the Ryder Cup held in neighbouring Valderrama, San Roque hosted both the European and American teams and their families and to this day the plaques with the players´ names remain by the door to the suites they occupied.

Finca Cortesín

Measuring 6.802 metres from the back tees, and with more than 100 bunkers, Finca Cortesin is ranked as being one of Spain’s best golf courses by the prestigious Golf Digest Magazine. Finca Cortesin has been host of the Volvo World Match Play Championship for 3 years, one of the world’s most prestigious golf tournaments at a professional level.

Real Club Valderrama

This was the venue for the 1997 Ryder Cup, World Golf Championships – American Express 1999 and 2000, and the Volvo Masters until 2008.

Ranked the best course in Continental Europe on many occasions, it is a demanding round that is further complicated by the habitual wind in the area.

Exquisitely maintained, Valderrama is a course that every player should enjoy at least once in their lives.

Seville

RCG of Seville

The Real Club de Golf de Sevilla, Venue of the WGCWorld Cup 2004, Andalucía Open 2009 and Spanish Open 2008, 2010 and 2012, boasts one of Europe’s best courses.

Designed by José María Olazábal, the challenging course of wide fairways and numerous bunkers is held in high esteem by amateurs and professionals alike.

Andalucia: Our Tours

Ronda

This town in the Málaga region sits on either side of the Tajo del Ronda, a narrow gorge more than 150 metres deep. Its old town has been declared Property of Cultural Interest.

Celts, Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs all inhabited these lands, which were reconquered by the Catholic Monarchs. Several bridges unite the two halves of one of the most interesting towns on the route of the Whitewashed Villages, in the heart of the the Ronda hills, only a few kilometres from the Costa del Sol.

Seville

We´ll start and go ahead to Real Alcazar, the most ancient royal palace still in use in Europe. Founded by the Muslim People one thousand years ago. Next to Alcazar and Cathedral we have Santa Cruz, the old Jewish Quarter, we walk through narrow and serpen- tine streets with a secret and peaceful atmosphere.

“Tio Pepe” Sherry Cellar

This is a unique opportunity for those who wish to enjoy the finest wines of González Byass in the most exclusive surroundings. Enjoy the Solera wines, aged for more than 30 years, amid their historic 16th century archives, or a glass of Jerez Solera Gran Reserva Brandy in the shade of the vine covered Lepanto Patio beside the antique “Alambique” pot-stills. Discover the origins and secrets of Sherry, and experience first-hand the timeless art of the “Venencia” by sampling wine taken directly from the sherry cask in the silence of the winery bodegas.

Córdoba

Private visit to Viana Palace, It has eleven courtyards –all unique and immense
ly beautiful – with evocative names like the Patio of the Gardeners, the Madame, the Well, the Iron Bars, the Orange Trees, etc. It also has a garden covering almost 1,200 m2, in the Baroque style with touches reminiscent of Arab culture.

Visit of the Great Mosque and “Barrio de la Judería”, the “Mezquita”, or Great Mosque, stands majestically, proud of its history. It is not just the symbol of a city, but also a designated World Heritage Site.
