Project Description

[fusion_fusion_[/fusion_fusion_dropcap]]L[/fusion_dropcap]ocated in Grupo Santander City, in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) is Golf Santander, a par-72 course designed by the famous American architect Rees Jones. The project was born with the aim of providing bank staff, clients, shareholders, and golf fans with some of the finest facilities for practicing the sport.

From the black tees, or the last tee-off point, the 6,855 metre distance of the Golf Santander course makes it the longest in Spain and one of the longest in Europe. It is an extremely demanding course and is a good test, even for the best professionals. However, what makes a well-designed golf course is not its toughness but rather its versatility. The balance between the player’s skill and the difficulty of the course is achieved by incorporating numerous tee-off platforms, up to eight per hole, where the six tees are located.
