Project Description

This was the first golf club in the city of Barcelona, and its origins date back to 1912. Since 2003 it has enjoyed a natural environment of 210 hectares, in addition to the 13,000 hectares of Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac nature park which surrounds the facilities.

In this idyllic landscape Greg Norman designed 45 holes with a unique approach, combining convenience and aesthetics by adapting the course to suit all playing levels and styles and by harmoniously integrating the seven different courses into the surrounding natural environment. The fairways make use of the natural, gently sloping ground and the greens are large and lively and allow for a variety of pin positions. It is the most awarded club in Europe and has organised and hosted the Spanish Golf Open on nine occasions.
